The main goal for a Bum marketer is to try and land his or her article in Google’s or Yahoo, MSN, Bing and so on, search engines. Once the article shows up on these engines, people like you and me browsing for whatever we’re looking for, browse through them.
How flexible they are in meeting your needs as a business. Are they always able to provide you with everything you need for your web solutions? A good web solutions company will find the answer for you, even when they don’t immediately know the solution.
You have to get your site noticed by your customers and that involves search engine optimisation (Seo), a mysterious process that gets your site near the top of the list. Just go on the internet and type the word ‘television’ in. At the last count you will get 113 million hits and it is highly unlikely that you will ever read any of them that do not appear on page one or two.
Ask your readers what matters to them? Don’t try to guess. You can do this through email newsletters and social media channels such as Twitter and Facebook.
Careful planning. Just like any other endeavor, you need to carefully plan your content marketing campaign before you even think about launching it. What exact strategies are you going to use? Are you going to sink your teeth into article marketing, blogging, and/or ezine publishing? How much information do you plan to share to your target audience? How frequent are you going to update your blog and web content? How much time are you going to spend per strategy? How would you know if everything you’re doing is effective? Are you going to hire ghost writers or are you going to do it all by yourself? The more questions you ask, the more prepare you’ll become and the lesser your chances of failing in this endeavor.
What if no one is interested in my product If you do your research before you spend your time creating your products and pages for your chosen market, people will be interested, if they know that you are there.
I’m not advocating that you do anything unethical here. Don’t make up a testimonial or pay your Mom to write one for you. Instead, offer a sample of your services free of charge to a friend or acquaintance in exchange for their positive feedback. (Obviously you have to over-deliver on what you promised!) Post the testimonial and their headshot on your website and you have just begun marketing your business! Repeat that action a few of times and your success stories will start shaping up.
Your biggest investment will be your time whether you have money or not. Starting from scratch will take a bit more time but Rome wasn’t built in a day. Hold onto your dream. Believe that you will succeed. Be positive. With a mind set like that, you can accomplish anything you put your mind to.
